What it posts

Posts from your inbox to a Pinterest Business account you own. Pinterest Business is what lets scheduling work.

Who it is for

People who own a Pinterest account and will convert it to Business so scheduling can run. Not a Pinterest ads tool. It does not run ads for you.

What you need before connect

  • Pinterest Business — convert first. Required to schedule.
  • Stay logged into that Business account in Chrome.
  • Project folder cloned from GitHub.
Personal account = scheduling will not work. Convert first. A personal account is a Pinterest limit, not a defect in the tool.

How you connect

Convert to Business first. Then run the login helper and sign into the Business account:

python3 setup_playwright_logins.py

Everyday use

Drop a video and a matching .json sidecar into inbox/ (same base name). Run ./posting_tool_go.command or python3 schedule_batch.py dispatch. Do not run two dispatches at once. Check posted/ or failed/ + screenshots.

Limits / account-type warnings

Pinterest Business is required to schedule. This is not a Pinterest ads tool. If Pinterest fails right after connect, confirm the account is Business, convert, then run the login helper and sign in again.
