What it posts

Posts the video and caption from your inbox to a TikTok Business account you own.

Who it is for

People who own a TikTok account, will convert it to Business before connect, and want to post from their own machine.

What you need before connect

  • TikTok Business — convert first. Stay logged into that Business account in Chrome.
  • Optional: a bio link tool if you want several links in your profile.
  • Project folder cloned from GitHub.
Personal account = the tool cannot do the job on TikTok. Convert first. A personal account is a TikTok limit, not a defect in the tool.

How you connect

Convert to Business first. Then run the login helper and sign into the Business account:

python3 setup_playwright_logins.py

Everyday use

Drop a video and a matching .json sidecar into inbox/ (same base name). Run ./posting_tool_go.command or python3 schedule_batch.py dispatch. Do not run two dispatches at once. Check posted/ or failed/ + screenshots.

Limits / account-type warnings

TikTok Business is required for the link in bio on new accounts and accounts under 1k followers. Convert before you connect. If TikTok fails right after connect, confirm the account is Business, not personal. Convert, then run the login helper and sign in again.
